United Pharma Journals has policies which require all authors to ensure protection and appropriate use of animals and human in all forms of research. These policies will be applicable to all the United Pharma Journals.
Additionally, it is mandatory for the authors reporting experiments which involve animals and human subjects to adhere to following facets:
The U.S. Public Health Service’s Policy on Humane Care and Use of Laboratory Animals (PHS policy) and the Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals outline general policies and procedures designed to make sure the human and appropriate use of live vertebrate animals in various kinds of medical research. United Pharma Journals abides by the policies and procedures set forth within the PHS Policy and therefore the Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals and hence finds both to be necessary and sufficient to ensure a high standard of animal care. The researchers are expected to conduct their animal research in compliance with the PHS policy.
The Editor-In-Chief will be evaluating the submitted manuscripts on animal well-being issues and if the research is found to be in disagreement with accepted norms of using the animal and human subjects, the manuscript is susceptible to be rejected. The Editor-In-Chief also reserve the right to contact the approving committee for any additional clarification.
Researcher, please note that you have an ethical obligation towards the animals and human subjects you use for your research goals and that they must be treated them considerately and keep in mind their welfare while designing the projects.
